SITA Programmes
Research and development are where knowledge meets innovation - that's why SITA is investing more than US$ 100 million in new programmes on behalf of the air transport industry (ATI). Current programmes include creation of the SITA Working Group for Environmental Regulation Implementation, the SITA Lab, the leveraging of fully digital operating environments to improve aircraft management, and developing a multi-service common-use architecture at airports for all members of the ATI.

Mobility: from hype to reality
Mobile devices are on the verge of impacting the passenger journey to the same extent the jet engine did 50 years ago.
Environment programme
SITA's approach to environmental challenges in the ATI is comprised of four components: technology, infrastructure, operations and economics.
Future aircraft management
Next generation aircraft bring new opportunities for simplifying operational processes and improving maintenance and engineering.
Next generation communications infrastructure
SITA is moving our focus away from the network itself and concentrating on application performance and the end-user experience.
